Add reduced forms of vowels in sentences

I really like this, but nearly all of the words are presented in their full form - there are very few reduced forms of pronunciation. For example "I was at the shops" is transcribed as "[aɪ wɒz æt ðə ʃɒps]" which is very accurate when all...

Thanks for your suggestion, Nick. It used to be the way you describe it, but I was once advised by a knowledgeable person that I should not do it like that. I was conviced that my way of doing it was the right one, but he seemed to be pretty sure that I should use words in their full (strong) form.

Now I'm not sure who is right and what is the right thing to do. I'll have to seek advice from more specialists, I guess.

I myself am a linguist but I'll need to consult someone who specializes in English phonology.

Would be useful to add a notepad to store text-transcription pair. Good example is 'Quick Note' Chrome extension. Thanks!

Im using your cool tool to learning pronuncication and store original phrase and transcription to 'Quick Note' (Chrome extension) online store to use/repeat later. Thanks!

Inaccuracies in 'phonics' and 'into'

I noticed slight inaccuracy when typing 'phonics' and 'into' this is how I can transcribe text into phonics [ðɪs ɪz haʊ aɪ kæn trænsˈkraɪb tekst ˈɪntʊ ˈfəʊnɪks]

Good catch, Mal.

Phonics should read [ˈfɒnɪks], right?

What about 'into'? In your example it should transcribe to [ˈɪntə], shouldn't it? An if it came before a word that began with a vowel sound it should read [ˈɪntuː], right?

I wonder why whenever I write "fucker", the American transcription returns the word without the final R, something that I would expect from the British transcription, not the American one.

Thanks you for taking into account my suggestion. Now I don't have to erase the "Enter your text here..." every time, it just disappears, that's great! :)
