Do you need an short unstressed i: /i/

Does the Phonetizer need a short unstressed version of /i:/?
Many dictionary keys do not have a way to clearly represesnt schwi /i/ unstressed.
They either use ee or i .. as you seem to do here with i: and i

city = cIti rather than citi.
